Here is a simple recipe I’ve been making this winter for my family. Hope you enjoy it!
I love squash-based meals! This past summer, we had our most productive squash plot in our garden! We harvested them in the fall and are storing them in cold storage – and are still enjoying them in January and February! I feel so georgic every time I use something I grew myself. First, I get the blessings from being outside digging in the dirt (so good for your health!), and then I get the blessings from eating food I grew myself – and that I know exactly from which source it came and how it was grown. It’s a win-win-win.
This recipe takes time to bake, but there isn’t much hands on, so it’s still an easy recipe. I personally avoid pork, so this filling has the sausage flavor from a homemade turkey sausage. Feel free to modify the ingredients any way you wish, of course. Make it yours!
